This week marked a special milestone at Present Connection as we hosted our very first Tech Connect<\/strong> session, and it couldn\u2019t have gone better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is TechConnect?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tech Connect is our new initiative to bring developers, tech enthusiasts, and curious minds together to share ideas, learn from each other, and explore what\u2019s next in tech. For our debut session, we jumped straight into one of today\u2019s most exciting topics: AI in software development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Tools That Go Beyond Code Generation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our speaker, software engineer Almantas Karpavi\u010dius<\/strong>, delivered a hands-on talk that went beyond code generation. He showed how tools like ChatGPT<\/strong> and GitHub Copilot<\/strong> can actually help improve code quality by enhancing design, structure, and testing practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using C# in Visual Studio<\/strong> and VS Code<\/strong>, the session featured live demos and practical tips on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Kod\u0117l BDD<\/strong> (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD<\/strong> (Test-Driven Development) are more relevant than ever in the age of AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • How to use AI as a smart assistant for generating tests, refactoring, and writing cleaner code<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Moving from “just generating code” to building better, more maintainable software with AI support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The atmosphere was energetic and open. Attendees asked great questions, sparked valuable discussions, and many stuck around afterward for more conversations and networking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We\u2019re proud that Tech Connect is already creating what we hoped it would: a space for learning, connecting, and growing as a tech community. It also shows what Present Connection is all about: people, expertise, and a passion for building better software together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
